memory moment:
napping on the couch. :) hehe.
dear bloggers and readers of my blog,
Today the youth group trip got cancelled. *tear* We are supposed to do something else in its place, so hopefully the 'something else' will be even more enjoyable. :)
*
I went swimming a little bit today. The water seems to be warming up despite the colder nights and occasional showers. That is always a blessing. My brother went in the pool a couple of times as well, but we mainly just jumped in to cool off and then went out.
*
My mum and I made a burn pile. I live in the boonies which means we are allowed to burn paper in our backyards. Perhaps this isn't as convenient as it seems. Of course, I burn myself. You would have thought that after my whole "touching the stove" experience would have taught me about scorching objects; fire being one of them. But apparently, on the other side, it didn't teach me anything, that I remember.(!) On the bright side I wasn't purposely trying to grasp for the flames, I was simply trying to put in a piece of cardboard far to big for the barrel. Either way, my thumbs hurt now, but the redness has gone away.
*
I played catch and a little bit of wiffle ball today with my brother. I think I am finally getting better at pitching, so I am happy about that. :) After that I went for a bike ride,(thanks to little miss writer), and went for a walk while my mum was at my brother's baseball game. My sister and I stayed here.
*
When my mum got home, we decided to go for custard!*yum* It was the first time that my sis, my mum, and I had it this summer.
*
When we got back, I strummed a little on the guitar and then did an ab workout and some dance stretches. It felt so good.
*
medical account: Wednesday I am getting fitted for my bone stimulator. My shin started to hurt again today, so I'd better take it easy. :p
*
much love to all. more cleaning in the morning. miss ORGANIC lady.

Sounds like a lovely day! It was such gorgeous weather. We went to the park and then bought ice cream and came home and made sundaes with the kids. At the store, Mr. G and Hanna were dancing and being pretty shameless. :-)

Have a beauitful day you beautiful girl!

Love - Mrs. G

So sorry about your youth outing being cancelled, that's unfortunate. I know you were really looking forward to it. I'm glad you have the Rogers as your youth leaders, they are doing a good job. We have to remember to pray for them everyday, it's a challenge to be in their position. Hope your boo boo gets better too, (maybe I should make that plural!) Keep your head up!
