dear bloggers and readers of my blog,

I am a little late in wishing everyone a happy 4th of July, but as the weekend ends and a new week begins, I feel good. =)

Thursday: The Chardon Fireworks got cancelled to my dismay since it had rained all morning and afternoon. *Bummer* Either way the youth 'bon fire' was still on. The irony here is that there was no bon fire, just more of a hang out session for all of us.

Friday: My family reunion. The funny things about family reunions is that if you don't go every year or relatives of yours don't go every year you begin to forget who half the people are. The good thing is my mum's side of the family (we don't have a reunion for my dad's side) makes you feel at home. This was at the same location as the graduation party held last weekend was. I ended up enjoying myself I must say and was able to be me.

Saturday: The day that the fireworks are! I was pretty excited to go to the fireworks since it is always our tradition. ARM and I emailed each other saying we should meet up. After calling and sorting all of the plans out we parked and were supposed to call Mr. M's cell phone to know where they were. Turns out that he had changed his cell number and upon calling my daddio, he didn't have the new one either. :( My mumsy suggested that I look around to find them. On the way I saw KH! =] As I neared the sign (CHS) I saw the Mitchell's. Then, after Little Miss Writer (KH), Pinkchicky(HEG), and I all chatted a little bit the fireworks began with me dashing for my camera. To get good pictures! I couldn't stop laughing so the majority of my pics ended up being blurry. KH asked if I had a fireworks setting on my camera, and after switching the modes, the photos turned out better. What a fun night. Plus, my mumsy bought us Dairy Queen! :)

On the way home I kept seeing things. A flying diaper was one.(?) I really don't know how that happened. Either way, it was a fun night.

today: I managed to get a good 8 hours of sleep despite all of the fun of last night's celebration. There were some bumps in the road, I am thinking a mixture of spiritual warfare and selfishness on my part, but all the girls on the dance team were so good and patient! Amen some one is. I think I need to learn from them.(!!!) Either way, the message today was really good since it was talking about unity. That is just what I needed to hear. God defiantly had this planned out. After chatting with friends, it was time for us to leave.=[

I jumped in the pool. What a refreshing feeling compared to being baked alive in the 90 degrees sun! Then I went for a bike ride around the yard but stopped since I was being killed from the deer flies. Don't you just love the welts they leave behind? *groans/scratches*
