dear bloggers and readers of my blog,

Today has consisted of more cross country practice, band rehearsal, and then tonight was Meet the Teams.

Cross Country: My stress fracture has gotten worse. :( This means my dreams for running the first meet have been dashed by my injury! Tomorrow I will not be running to my dismay, but I do want it to get better so I won't keep at it. Coach wanted me to ice my leg, which helps it get better and keeps the inflammation down. I kept practicing flagline until one of my team mates forced me to sit down for 20 minutes and ice it! My sister has also reminded me, so it is nice to have people who want you to get the injury healed as much as you do. =]

Band: practice, practice, and more practice. That basically sums it all up! Last day of band week.

Meet the Teams: It was a blast getting my pictures taken, seeing my friends from volleyball, and doing our show for band. All of the hard work payed off! I was complimented by strangers for my dancing, and as my mum put it, "All of those dance lessons have really revealed themselves!" I did have a ton of fun, and tried my best to do all of the moves. I was extremely tired and had a headache afterwards, but it was worth it.

Tomorrow is another day of practice, but not band! :) I will finally be able to be home for once. That is a good thought. I feel like I don't even know my family anymore! I am constantly away! When school starts up, some of the busyness may level off, but new craziness will begin. =]
