Good things have begun to happen, and I am wondering if it because I am trying to change my view. Though things aren't perfect, (they are far from it),God all this time has been trying to bless me. And He has been, whether I notice it or not. I am, however, trying to pay more attention to his blessings over me from now on. :)

Example number one. Yesterday.
Yesterday was our schools first football game. I felt like I was a walking zombie. Everything was hazed over, and I seemed to lack in the focus department. I curled half of my hair, and then me and another girl went outside to practice a routine for flag line. By the time I got back in the dressing room, it was already the 5 minute warning for us to come out. When you are in a rush, which is typical for me, nothing is fast enough. The curling iron won't heat up fast enough. You can't seem to get all the glitter on quick enough, and on other occasions, the person driving you to a place can't speed enough. What a shame! I don't really think I am capable of "stopping and smelling the roses." I truly am content where I am in life, and wouldn't change it, just to clarify things.
Well, to end the events, our football team won! We had 3 minutes left on the clock and we were 6 down. We scored, pushing the game into overtime. We got a touch down and a field goal. The other team (Jefferson) got a touch down, but not a field goal. So the final score = 27 to 26. :]

Today.
The first cross country meet. Since I wasn't running in the race, I had to go from one spot to another to keep times. This involved running, so that we would get the last person's time at the mile mark, and be at the second mile marker as the first person was running past. This is why I have become a stat girl, at least for now. I get easily frustrated that I have to do this, and not running, but that is why I brought up the positive thinking. I know God's timing is better than my own, which means he knows when it would be best for me to start running. =)

I took a little nap today after the race and some back to school shopping, so I am feeling content right now.
