In the words of the British invasion stars the Beatles, "Love is all you need."
Some people have said that they didn't like Valentine's day because it is a hallmark holiday or overrated. I disagree. Though the holiday is about romance and love, I think we can carry a true sentiment from February 14th. We know that God is love, and a holiday about love should be centered around the one who is love and who placed that love desire in our hearts. So, eat your valentine candy, smell your roses; they will only last for a few moments compared to the eternity that we will be spending with our creator. When we are rejoicing in true companionship with Christ, we don't have to have just one day a year set aside for love. Every day can be spectacular! :) I was reading my Bible this morning. (My family and I have been camped out at my grandpa's due to a power outage which began Thursday morning.) The past few days I have been blessed with hardly any sleep, yet more time to read my Bible. One verse which popped out at me, and I had previously underlined, stated that we should hold tight to unswerving hope. And, our true hope is to be in perfect unison with our Savior.

nice post! you finally had a chance to post! :)
Beautiful words!
You're right. Valentine's Day should not only be about the people we love and care about, but most of all about our wonderful Creator!
I like gardens too. It's so much fun to plant the seeds and watch them grow into yummy vegatables. And believe it or not I actually find it fun to weed a garden.
