What a gorgeous day today was! And how appropriate for today was Earth day 2009. Look out the window, or if you get the chance, (as I did), go for a walk in the woods. I have survived another day of not doing track, which I am sure is a painful torture. That is why I had to let off some steam by taking a walk. In the woods there was a fallen tree, where I used to play when I was real little. It was nice going back there and just sitting on the horizontal trunk staring at the bare branches. The forest floor, on the other hand, has become quite the habitat. May apples are beginning to open like little umbrellas, and the autumn leaves are also becoming hidden.
I enjoyed some strumming on my guitar, and I got to drive to see some old friends with my dad and sister. It was my first time driving at night, so it was a little more challenging to say the least! (:
