I have realized that the winter likes to rebirth itself, so as it is not forgotten amongst the well deserved, and well enjoyed spring. I like to take naps and sip hot chocolate while the flurries haunt outside shoppers. I did have track practice today, but that is the last of it for the week which so happens to be the official start to spring vacation. None the less, as I told one of my friends earlier when they asked what I would be doing this break, I recall putting down, "running like a madwomen." Perhaps it comes a little too naturally. (:

I had my first track meet this past Thursday where I did considerably well. I took first in the high jump, our girls team took first in the 4x8 relay (of which I was apart of), I took third in the mile, and third in the 400 (one lap around the track.) Our girls team overall won, so it was a good start to the season. Tomorrow's track meet got cancelled already due to weather conditions. All the more reason to run like a madwomen. ahhhha.

I have started an English project which is my autobiography. We are given prompts for different chapters, and so far I am thoroughly enjoying the stories. It is as though the memories just flow back. So far I have written an essay on my first dog, and my best friend in elementary school. I would post the essays themselves, but they are long to say the least. (: None the less, whether it is winter or a memory coming back, I see now what a blessed, beautiful day it is!

Hey Meli!
That's great that you are officially on spring break. It's funny though, your school started spring break when it looks like December outside! lol
