girl's night out and a life in general

Hello all, again. Since our blogging paths have crossed, it can be considered a sin for the time it has taken. Meanwhile, track has officially ended, and there are 8 days of school left in counting. I have started my summer reading already-finally some books that I want to! Also, our band has been preparing for memorial day parades. I have been writing more frequently, started back up on my leftover knitting projects, organized some obscure drawers in my bedroom, and of course continue the trotting outside. The list continues with my first prom. Yesterday I sat out on the deck with my bathing suit on while I water-colored. Then I headed over to my brother's baseball game. I found the camera, and will get some pictures posted in time.
Some of us girls got together for what we'd like to call GNO. For those who aren't familiar with the term it means girls-night-out. What a fun trip to C-town and putt putt golfing with the girls. Though I was an epic fail to my competitive, I managed to get one hole-in-one, (only in anger.) We finished all 18 holes and then headed up the square to have some gourmet pizza. Before hand (to our outing) Mrs G instructed us in godliness by reminding us that we represent God and our families. A women at the pizza shop came up to our table as she was on her way out and said how blessed and encouraged by us and how we were such a good representation for God and our families. My jaw and my fellow friend's jaws dropped to the ground as we managed thank-you's and a smile which ultimately lasted the rest of the evening. We finished the outing with a trip to DQ. A few candids:
