hello bloggers :)
Have you ever just sat there by a window and watched the rain drops fall. I love how each particle of water splashes against the car window and gets flung off the glass, or seemingly melts down the side. The other day my brother 'quite matter-of-factly' said to me, "Did you ever notice how they resemble people?" Though it hasn't even rained, or came close to raining today, a discussion in French class made me think of the refreshment that comes with a storm. And, that is true! Not just in nature, but emotionally. Someone once said that in order to have a rainbow, you must have a little rain.
Today started off frustrating.
The past few days have been a blessing. In fact it has been such a blur that blogging has been the least of my worries. Only four days ago it was the start to a fine weekend. Sunday was dance team. My lack of inspiration has seemed to vanish. Finally my all summer thirst to teach Sunday school has been quenched. Breaks are good, but after a month I am already too excited for teaching that I could practically jump off the ceilings. :) Monday...No school due to Gustav's wrath.
In art class we are starting a new project. This is one for the Ducks Unlimited & Wildlife contest. I have decided I have my heart set on the Roseate Spoonbills. I might add a Mallard or two in the piece for contrast and 'something different.' =]
Cross Country practice consisted of more biking-for me. The chances for me to run the meet next Tuesday are looking slim. :[ We'll see what happens, I suppose.
Right now I have "Here Comes the Sun" stuck in my head.
